Half the fun of owning a smart phone is playing around with all of the different applications that are available. It won’t matter very much what smart phone you purchase, you’ll still have a big library of apps to choose from. People who buy Android phones, especially, have lots of applications to choose from.
You can download free apps or pay for the apps you want. Many smart phone users stick with the free applications. That does not mean, however, that there aren’t paid applications worth their asking prices. You will probably find some paid apps that are well worth their asking prices. Here are our favorite top paid Android applications.
If you are trying to get in better shape, the Fit Sync paid app is a must buy. Along with the basics, this application has more than a thousand workout videos, more than a hundred workouts and about fifty different fitness plans. The app also has software that helps you record all of your workouts so that you can keep track of your progress as you work to get fit.
You can even publish your workouts to your favorite social networks because the application hooks right in to Facebook and the FitSync widgets that you can install on different websites and social networks. SMS Control is a paid app that only costs two dollars and will help you find your phone if you misplace it. You can use SMS control to send commands to the phone via text messages which will help you locate the phone. Turning up the ringer, checking the battery life and locking the phone are all things you can do with this app. You can also get your phone’s location pinpointed on a map and have all of your calls and texts forwarded to your back up phone until you can find the Android phone. This paid application is great for individuals who are in the habit of setting down their phones and then walking away (and then later forget where they left the phone).
MyBackupPro is an essential application for individuals who get anxious when they think about their phone’s security. This paid Android application lets you concoct a backup of your phone. It backs up your apps, calls made, contacts, settings, text messages, internet bookmarks, phone call log and more. This app backs up every tidbit of information on your phone. This can be extremely helpful if you lose your phone or if it gets stolen. You can bring back all your “lost” data onto your new or alternate phone and get back to your normal routine.
It’s hard to figure out which of the paid applications are best. Like most other smart cell phone owners, you won’t even look at paid apps until you’ve completely exhausted the choices available in the free app market.
Most of the time, however, the asking price for the paid apps is more than fair. Most people use apps for entertainment or to make their lives easier. Wouldn’t you pay a dollar or two for that?
