How the device works
The glucose in the blood is assimilated by the chemicals in the one touch test strips. Electricity current that is in the meter of the device tests the glucose in the blood. So after the blood has been tested, the end result is stored in the meter and saved for future reference. Good thing about the results being stored is the fact that initial results can be compared to the ones that follow and thus the diabetic will be able to learn how to maintain the amount of sugar in the blood in to a manageable level.

 The meter does not have to be removed from the case during the testing.
 Skin area that is to be pricked for the testing should be washed first. Soap and water being the most recommended.
