I just finished a brand new course by Ray Higdon titled Master Sponsoring Series and I wanted to discuss the course with you. I have had the privilege of interacting with Ray on Facebook for quite a while now and have recently been fortunate to sit through several training sessions with him as a participant in the My Lead System Pro community.

For those of you unfamiliar with Ray Higdon, here is his story simply speaking. Ray was a real estate investor in Florida who lost everything with the collapse of the housing market. Only 2 years back, he found himself amid foreclosure and in the process of considering bankruptcy. His financial situation had gotten so bad that his girlfriend was getting groceries for he and his two children. It was during this time that Ray was introduced to his primary mlm company (he had previously tried MLM in 11 different companies) and the world of internet advertising and marketing. Over the past year or so, Ray Higdon has become the main income earner in his primary company and is among the top leaders within the MLSP system also. He has been a featured speaker at No Excuses, Live The Dream and featured on the cover of What’s Working Now. It is from these types of experiences that Ray Higdon come up with the curriculum for this Master Sponsoring Series.

Ray Higdon comes right out of the chute addressing the weak spot in prospecting found with most entrepreneurs. He is quick to point out to his students that prospecting is definitely the most lucrative of any activities that a business owner undertakes. He emphasizes that lead generation is meaningless without the ability to prospect and close. Ray also emphasizes the importance for personal contact, especially contact that involves using the telephone. He emphasizes repeatedly throughout the course you could build online or offline, but that you cannot do either one without using the phone.

In Master Sponsoring Series, Ray Higdon has designed 4 modules. Surprisingly, prospecting is the final module. Ray has done this deliberately, because of the errors a lot of people make in their business presentation and closing activities. Ray felt that it had been important to create the proper mind-set and teach people how to close, before teaching them the way to prospect. In this training, Ray deals extensively with how you can adjust your mindset to help you more effectively influence the mindset of theleads and prospects which you communicate with.

To begin with I want to explain why I bought this course to start with. In evaluating my very own business I realized that one of my weak areas was in my closing of prospective buyers. I have had good success building my group, but when I think about the number of people I sponsor when compared to number of people which i talk to each day, those numbers leave great room for improvement. When I learned Ray Higdon had introduced this series, it was a no-brainer in my opinion to purchase it.

Ray Higdon created numerous light bulb moments for me throughout the course, but here are several that truly stood out. One of those moments addressed raising the curiosity and then removing the expectation of any sales pitch. One of my favorite items that Ray taught was how to build up the conversation after which to leave it and point the prospect to a presentation to do the pitching. This was certainly an exceptionally non-threatening, but highly posturing method.

Another key takeaway came from Ray’s guest trainer, who discussed how to flip those people who are pitching you on their own business. I must admit that we have done a poor job with this particular one, especially since I get multiple calls and emails each week along these lines. The real key to this particular strategy dealt with introducing doubt over the course of the conversation after which using that doubt to put yourself as the leader they are seeking. The training offered through this guest speaker is only one of the numerous reasons that Ray Higdon is such a fan of this teacher.

The last takeaway I will reveal to you came from Ray’s talk of “afformations.” As opposed to “affirmations” that are statements to shape attitude, “afformations” use questions in order to unlock the subconscious problem solving power of the mind. This by far was the most insightful sections of the training and has led me to start writing out my “afformation” questions each night before I get to sleep.

If you are striving to sponsor people into your organization, then I would highly recommend that you decide to go pick up a copy of the Master Sponsoring Series by Ray Higdon. I guarantee it will be one of the best investments you ever make in your business.

Ray Higdon has proven himself in the world of network marketing. The Master Sponsoring Series draws from Ray’s experience and success to teach the average network marketer how to become a recruiting superstar.
